The beaches there are usually privately held by the resorts so there are not as many vendors to harass you while you are trying to soak up the sun. If you are an East Coast couple, you might want to try San Diego or Manhattan Beach near Los Angeles, or even Newport Beach or Malibu. These are great places to enjoy a beach honeymoon. Try Santa Barbara for a truly magnificent getaway with vineyards and great shopping nearby.
